Speech Language Pathology is a rehabilitation specialty that is provided by a licensed individual. The Speech Language Pathologist assists individuals with varying disabilities. Some of the areas they assist in are chewing, swallowing, speech, comprehension, communications and memory loss. SLP’s traveling with TravelMed USA must have completed and received their Certificate of Clinical Competency. Those in their CFY have the ability to be place as a permanent employee through TravelMed USA. A SLP can be certified in Vital Stimulation (the only neuromuscular electrical stimulation that is cleared by the Food and Drug Administration to treat dysphasia.)
