Pay Package

Your pay package will vary depending on the position and the location. The pay package includes your hourly rate, travel compensation, medical insurance and Per Diem (housing, meals and incidentals based on the IRS guidelines, see our link to the Traveler Resources.) This is based strictly upon the compensation from the facility and what they offer. Many times there is a sign-on bonus or a completion bonus offered with the assignment. When negotiating a permanent position pay package there is also usually a relocation bonus along with the sign-on bonus. Talk to your Recruiting Agent to find out specifically about your options.

Private Housing

All of our Travelers are offered a private one bedroom apartment or housing option that includes furniture and utilities. We also accept requests if you are looking for specifics such as a 2 bedroom, work out room etc. The Travelers are also offered a housing stipend in lieu of the actual housing if they choose to find their own housing or if they will be staying with family or friends for the term of their assignment. Local travelers will have to sign a “Permanent Tax Residence Declaration” form to make them eligible to receive tax free housing compensation according to the IRS guidelines.

Travel

Depending on the location of your assignment, you will be entitled to receive travel monies to travel to your assignment and then upon completion of your assignment you will receive monies to get to your next destination.

Comprehensive Medical Insurance

TravelMed USA offers a comprehensive Medical insurance plan through United Health Care. This is a nationwide PPO policy with co-pays. TravelMed USA will pay 100% of your medical premium while you are on assignment and you also have the option for Dental and Vision at a nominal fee.

Licensure Reimbursement

TravelMed USA will reimburse your professional license cost (up to $200) with valid receipts, when placed on assignment within that state. Please consult with your Recruiting Agent for assistance in obtaining licensure in another state.

Dedication Benefits

Currently TravelMed USA offers a Loyalty benefit of $1,000 upon completion of (4) four thirteen week assignments or one year. PLUS an additional $500 every time you extend at the same facility.
